We are in the COLLECTION process for the donation kits.  Our ward has been asked to collect the following:

(25 of each) 

• Toothbrushes
• travel size toothpaste
• travel size hand sanitizer
• combs
• twin size quilts – gender neutral in color

The Lord's youth battalion in "Zion's army"

If you missed President and Sister Nelson's worldwide devotional this past Sunday I recommend going back and watching or reading it.  the devotional was for the youth but I think it is something we can all be a part of.  In summary, President Nelson gave 5 invitations for everyone "to enlist in the Lord's youth battalion to help gather Israel":

1. Hold a seven day fast from social media.

(for my kids we have been doing a 7 day fast from day time tv watching)

2. Make a weekly sacrifice of time to the Lord for three weeks.

3.  Keep on the covenant path.  If you are off, repent and get back on the path.

4.  Pray daily the all of God's children might receive the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ

5.  Stand out.  Be different.  Be a light.  Give to a friend one copy of the booklet for the strength of youth."  (or maybe give a copy of the Book of Mormon to a friend or neighbor)
